About Evolution Resort:

Join Tommy, Undersea Expeditions and Christine Simon of Seattle's LGBTQ+ Bottom Dwellers on an exciting expedition to Malapascua Island, Philippines to dive with thresher sharks!

Perfectly timed to coordinate with our Dumaguete LGBTQ+ Scuba Vacation (or following our Palau trip by flying to Manila April 8, then Cebu April 9.) From Cebu/Mactan Island (CEB) you'll be transferred to tiny Malapascua Island, famous for exciting encounters with thresher sharks!

With three boat dives scheduled each day and deep dives for threshers, it's easy to get your fill of nitrogen, so bring a dive computer and make sure you know how to use it. This excursion is best suited for Advanced Open Water divers or higher. Air-conditioned accommodations and breakfast are included, along with a lot of diving.

We are happy to match you with a roommate if you travel solo, or ask us about a single supplement if you prefer your own room. It's easy to find a dive buddy when you're traveling with friends!

Price, per person:

  • Superior Aircon Room, Double or Twin Share - $1295
  • Ask about single supplement

Included

  • 7 nights deluxe AC room double occupancy
  • Six days of three boat dives daily, including an extended day trip to Gato Island
  • Daily breakfast
  • Transfer from Cebu airport
  • Transfer to Atlantis Dumaguete Resort (or return to Cebu)

Not included

Airfare to Cebu, Philippines, rental equipment, meals not mentioned above, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, any special transfers if required, Nitrox if desired (recommended), tourist tax of PhP 110 (approx. US $2.50), tips, and items of a personal nature.

  • $300 deposit due at registration

About Rainbow Divers

Rainbow Divers is a 501(c)7 non-profit mutual benefit organization, and can only organize activities and trips for its members. Trips are priced to break even. Excess cash flow is rebated to divers. Membership is cheap and comes with a bunch of new lifelong friends at no extra charge. So if you’d like to participate in this trip, please join us.

Payments are generally non-refundable. If you sign up and your plans change there may or may not be someone interested in taking your spot. If you cancel without having made all payments it is your responsibility to find someone to pay your obligation in full. It is a very good idea to carry trip insurance to cover such an eventuality.

Trip payments may be made by PayPal or by personal check. PayPal will accept credit card payments, regardless of whether you have a PayPal account. The price is the same regardless of payment method.  Please consider using PayPal, as electronic payment greatly simplifies the work of our volunteers.  Please send PayPal payments to paypal@rainbowdivers.org

All divers on this trip should be comfortable diving in currents and have good buoyancy skills.  Divers are required to carry valid, in-force dive accident insurance, such as Divers' Alert Network (DAN).

Divers must agree to NCRD's Event Terms and Conditions to participate in this trip. Follows these links please:
